opportunities
artists & touring supportopportunities
We offer development opportunities for our touring artists and companies and more broadly, facilitate opportunities for artists and companies to connect with venues from across the South East.
We also offer one-on-one chats with members of the house team for any artist or company who is interested in touring in the South East and might have a question (or twelve…) for us.
In our annual programme:
Pitch Up
Each year, we host two Pitch Up events. Pitch Up is an in-person event and provides a platform for venues and artists to pitch ideas, providing space for new partnerships to emerge. By having both venues and theatre-makers pitch what they have to offer and what they're looking for, we aim to foster a more collaborative and open approach than traditional pitching events.
We host Pitch Up events in venues across the South East typically with one event in spring and another in autumn, inviting an open audience made up of theatre makers, arts professionals and other local venues eager to connect and listen to the pitches of the day.
Pitch Up: Oxford will be on 20 May 2026.

Venues & Artists’ Networking Breakfast in Edinburgh
Supporting theatre artists and venues build stronger relationships
In August as part of our house Edinburgh Festival Fringe delegation, we host an informal networking breakfast for venues and artists.
The morning provides an opportunity to spark both conversations and intentional relationships between artists and venues. This event is by application from theatre artists who have a specific interest in touring shows, and making work within the South East of England.
Spaces are limited and the event is facilitated so that artists and companies have the time and space to chat and connect with venue representatives.
