About Network Day 2023: Are You Relevant?
Thu 9 November - 11am - 4pm
The arts are often accused of being elitist and in a time of ever tighter margins and competitive funding it's all too easy to focus on the bottom line, but at what cost? If our communities don't feel at home in our buildings will we quickly become redundant?
Through a day-packed with inspirational speakers, training sessions and conversations with other arts professionals, Network Day 2023 aims to help you find the opportunities to better understand the needs and interests of your audiences and how to craft a programme of events which both excites and better represents them.
We’re delighted to be working with Brixton House as our hosts for the day, a brand-new theatre space in the heart of London making radical steps to engage with their local community.
Network Day 2023 sessions will cover:
- Sharing and shaping your Visions & Values with communities
- Embracing the opportunities of Access & Inclusion
- Better representing the Diversity of your community
- Building strategies to recognize your existing and potential audiences
- Understanding the future trends & opportunities within arts & culture
