Edinburgh Venues & Artists’ Networking Breakfast
festival visitsEdinburgh Venues & Artists’ Networking Breakfast

WHAT: house southeast theatre network’s Venues & Artists’ Networking Breakfast
Supporting theatre artists and venues to build stronger relationships
WHEN: Tuesday 19 August, 10am to 12pm
WHERE: Summerhall Café
This August, the house team will be at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with over twenty venue programming representatives from across our network of members in the South East of England.
We’re more excited than ever to meet with artists and companies during the final week of the Festival.
We know how difficult it can be for artists and companies to juggle the demands of touring work. Finding the time to network and make connections can feel overwhelming. We’re here to help make it easy.
On Tuesday 19 August, we’ll be hosting another of our informal Networking Breakfasts at Summerhall. Think of it more as meeting new friends than networking; we are here to help spark intentional relationships and meaningful conversations between artists and venues.
We will kick off with a relaxed welcome over tea, coffee and Vitamin C, followed by a panel discussion on touring and making work within the South East. You’ll then have plenty of time to recharge with coffee and pastries, as we introduce artists and companies to venue representatives, giving you the space to chat about your work and ambitions, and to make friends and connections.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for theatre artists who are specifically interested in touring their work in the South East or East of England, or in developing a working relationship with venues in the region. You do not need to be producing a show at Edinburgh to eligible to apply.
