Festival Delegations

house visits festivals across the UK and internationally to support programmers within our network to both discover some of the best new and exciting theatre shows, to potentially tour across the South East, as well as inspire them and their programmes. We are supported by programmers from venues across the network, taking them as part of a house delegation to see work in different contexts, allowing them to actively feed into house’s programming decisions.

We regularly support over 20 programmers each year to make it to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for a week of shows, talks and events.

Professional development bursaries

We are also able to offer occasional bursaries to conferences and training events run by other bodies within the arts industry. These are a great way to network with other arts professionals within and beyond our region, be inspired by speakers and external opportunities and connect with the sector across the wider UK.

Our bursaries can open the door to opportunities that most smaller venues or early career arts professionals in our network wouldn't otherwise have access too. Previous bursaries have included the AMA Conference and Digital Marketing Day, UK Theatre Symposium and Theatres Trust Conference.
