86% of cultural audiences are worried about the impact of climate change. 72% of audiences think venues have a responsibility to influence society about the climate emergency, but only 16% think we currently place great importance on doing so. At least 25% of our audiences don’t know what cultural organisations are doing in relation to sustainability.
In June 2025, Indigo shared insights into environmental sustainability communications, as well as findings from their sustainable travel project, Act Green, giving venues a better understanding of the impact this work can have in helping you to deliver your own sustainability goals and connect with audiences.
