That was one of the best moments of parenting so far

Could you ask for a better quote for a performance for young audiences and their slightly frazzled parents!

HurlyBurly Theatre make gentle theatrical experiences for babies and new parents & carers which incorporate opera and singing at their heart. As mums to little children, Sarah, Catherine & Suzie who make up the company have recent memory of what it is like to find ways to communicate with new tiny ones and found that singing was a way to make strong connections. As talented professional singers & musicians they decided to therefore create a new relaxed theatre show, Meet Me A Tree which would introduce children to both live performance and beautiful operatic singing that might also encourage parents to try singing at home.

We caught up with the company at a recent performance to find out more about the show and to ask parents how they found their experience.

The house tour of Meet Me A Tree starts on Thursday 02 March at The Alexander Centre in Faversham and tours throughout the month finishing at Cambridge Junction on Sunday 26 March.
