Spotlight Series
Share ideas, be inspired

This year house is hosting Spotlight Series: a new set learning and development of online talks with professionals across the network, shining a light on some of the brilliant work happening across theatres in the Southeast today. We’ll be celebrating successes, platforming best practise, as well as not shying away from the things that haven’t worked too.

Our Spotlight Series talks are open to anyone working within the industry, but are aimed at professionals working within an arts venue in the house southeast theatre network and will be particularly useful to venue leaders, programming, marketing, venue management and box office or a front of house roles.

In May we’ll be bringing you three talks, all free to attend, focussing on the following key areas of audience engagement:

Monday 12th May, 1pm to 2pm
Spotlight on The Collaborative Approach: What are the benefits from fostering a truly collaborative relationship between Programme and Marketing departments?

Wednesday 14th May, 1pm to 2pm
Spotlight on Welcoming Spaces: What are the benefits from building welcoming spaces for our current audiences and those who might not consider themselves as audiences quite yet?

Friday 16th May, 1pm to 2pm
Spotlight on Ticketing & Pricing: How can adapting and changing our approach to pricing and ticketing models, have a significant impact on who we see coming through our theatres?

Each talk will last 60mins, inclusive of time at the end for a Q&A with attendees. Talks will be relaxed and informal for those wishing to attend. We hope that the insights from the Spotlight Series into other venue approaches may support your thinking, or ignite creative new ways of thinking for your own venues.
