The 180-seat Little Theatre is proud to be one of the country’s last remaining traditional rep venues. Each summer, over ten weeks from July to September, a hand-picked company of professional actors and top guest directors provide an exciting mix of classic and contemporary plays. This Rep company perform up to 70 shows, regularly to sell-out audiences.  With plays ranging from nail-biting thrillers, to classic comedies and hilarious farces by writers as diverse as Oscar Wilde, Willy Russell and Alan Ayckbourn, the season has something for everyone.

Christmas time brings the return of our ever popular pantomime. Each panto is traditional with a modern twist, attracting audiences of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents. Produced by our highly qualified in house team, this laugh-a-minute show runs in December and January starring a cast of professional actors, and giving dozens of talented local youngsters the chance to perform.

Past productions have included perennial favourites Cinderella, Aladdin and, most recently, Dick Whittington.  Renowned for their stunning costumes, side-splitting comedy, toe-tapping music and spectacular special effects, our hugely popular annual pantomimes offer fun and laughter for the whole family.
