trusting the enterprise
Friday 22 March 2019, 11:00 – 16:30
Cecil Sharp House, London
This venue network day will explore how you might identify new areas for financial growth in your venue. With a strong focus on customer experience, we will explore how visitor perception, ethos and experience can strengthen loyalty and lead to stronger business in the arts.
Lisa Baxter, Founder and Director of The Experience Business, will lead us through the customer journey and invite us to question our essential ‘why’, ‘what’ and ‘how’. Illustrated with examples from her unique work in audience experience design, she will share its impact on how arts organisations engage with their audiences.
We will also have breakout sessions on Fundraising with David Johnson, Head of Programmer at Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy.
This is an opportunity for venues in the South East to make new connections, share ideas and discover ways of addressing challenges.
Please arrive from 10.30am for coffee and registration, to begin at 11am.
We invite members of venue programming and marketing teams to join us and take part in the day; although other team members are also welcome.
Accessibility: The event will be held on the lower floor of Cecil Sharp House which is accessible via stairs and lift. You can view more access information via the Cecil Sharp House website here. If you require a ticket for a companion/carer/personal assistant or BSL interpretation, please get in touch with Steph.
