An informal guide to the new COVID-19 guidance for performing arts venues in the South East
This session will give arts organisations the chance to digest the latest covid guidance and make sure your practice is as safe as possible for activity in multi-purpose cultural spaces.
Ben Stephen (Head of Operations & Production, The Albany) will clarify the new tier guidance; explore what this means for venues; revisit important considerations from the last ‘covid confident’ session (with some tips and tricks); and open the floor for questions and discussion.
Ben Stephen (Head of Operations & Production, The Albany)
Ben has been navigating tricky risk assessments & operational challenges for over 20 years and has spent the last 8 years as head of production at the Albany, Deptford. Working in live events & theatre since the 90s he’s worked across the UK and internationally and once deliberately set fire to the front of the National Theatre (Fire Garden 2012). He currently represents the Independent Theatre Council to the Theatre Safety Committee.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This event is for venues in the South East only. It’s best suited for venue leaders, General Managers or those in charge of covid compliance for activity in the venue.
This session will be between 1 – 1.5 hours, so there’s plenty of time to bring your questions. All participants will be visible and able to contribute via video/microphone.
When booking, please specify if you have any access requirements such as BSL interpretation or captioning.
