Please read before applying
Pitch Up is an event to encourage relationships between venues and companies.
We encourage you to consider why you’re pitching and what relationships you hope to gain. This is significant in your application as we’re passionate about venues and artists working together to create new work. And if you’re successful in securing a pitch, it will also help you to make the most of the day.
The main idea you wish to pitch must be at ideas or R&D stage. You’re welcome to mention a full production as your ‘other project’.
A panel will meet to decide the pitches. We try to curate a wide range of ideas. All applicants will be notified of the outcome.
If you are unsuccessful in securing a pitching slot we still highly recommend attending Pitch Up to benefit from networking and relationship-building opportunities. You will need to sign up via Eventbrite.
What to include in your video application
1. Who are you?
2. Why do you want to attend Pitch Up?
3. Summarise the project idea you’d like to pitch
4. What are you asking for in your pitch?
Be clear and simple about what you’re asking for. E.g. rehearsal space, partners on the development of the idea, directorial support, marketing expertise etc.
TOP TIP: Avoid asking for financial support in your pitch
